Job Summary

The business finance manager reports into Director – Business Finance and is responsible for ensuring that there is seamless integration between the finance function and the business teams within MediBuddy. This is a 100% internal stakeholders-focussed role whose mandate is to own all relationships with the business and functional teams on behalf of the finance function.

On an ongoing basis:

• Own the preparation and implementation of Annual Operating Plan along with the strategy team. Ensure that the AOP is prepared at each function/business unit/line of business level and rolled up at organisation level.
• Prepare MIS on a monthly and annual basis to provide accurate analysis of the performance of each business unit, function and the organisation.
• Lead projects related to improvement of the accuracy of financial information presented in the MIS.
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance overall financial efficiency.
• Help the team automate the tasks that are repetitive and pivotal in the timely closure of the MIS.
• Lead margin improvement projects at COGS, Direct costs and overheads levels to ensure that the company achieves the margin targets set as part of the AOP process.

Education & Experience:

• CA/MBA Finance
• 4-5 years of business finance & FP&A experience in a fast-growing startup.
• Clear understanding of the accounting processes and methods
• Ability to lead a team of professionals and analysts; strong communication skills
• Very high on integrity and strong bias towards truth/fact-based decision-making
• Positive attitude, problem-solving nature and hands-on approach to work
